The Earth is Stationary According to Biblical Verse
The idea that Earth is a spinning globe hurtling through space contradicts specific interpretations of biblical texts. For example, Psalm 104:5 (ESV) states, "He set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved." So, who are we to argue if the Good Book tells us that the Earth is stationary? Additionally, in our day-to-day experiences, we don't feel the Earth moving beneath our feet. We don't feel any sensations of spinning, orbiting, or hurtling through space. Our senses tell us that the Earth is stable and unmoving, which lines up with the biblical interpretation.
